In 2012, our journey began under the name Storyloom Films, driven by the vision of creating films that celebrated the rich craftsmanship of India and beyond. Over time, our narrative evolved, expanding far beyond the realm of crafts. Today, we proudly present Story of Being, a platform dedicated to sharing stories that encapsulate the myriad experiences of life on this planet.

Founder, Director and Producer
Keya Vaswani
Keya, hailing from Raipur (Chhattisgarh), is a self-taught filmmaker and producer. Her achievements include winning The National Film Award for "Weaves of Maheshwar" in 2016, being featured in Forbes Magazine, and serving as a TEDx Speaker. She graduated as a Craft Product Designer from the Indian Institute Of Crafts and Design (IICD). Growing up listening and reading beautifully illustrated stories from her mother, to watching her father take mesmerizing photographs every day to traveling with her family, her childhood was rich with memories and experiences, which in turn inspired her to be a storyteller.
